Thought he was Man of the Match last night. Excellent distribution, quality passing both left and right, plenty of guile , good game management. But what an amazing effort in defence, think he was on for the full 80, boy does he hit hard in the tackle he really took it to the Catalan big men. How blinking tough is he.

Yes I agree, he also did the full 80 minutes against Saints the other week. Not sure about Wigan game. However he seems to have a very good engine. Must work on the little things with his discipline especially around the PTB

He is the only player we have who IMO is International class in his position at this exact moment. I accept that he isn't as good as say Clarke or the lad playing in Australia and dare say a few others. However if he was to play he wouldn't look out of place. Shame for him he never really got his head together in the past but great for us because by rights we shouldn't really have such a classy player - without him we are far weaker.

Have to say he was another player the coaching brigade on here binned before he'd played a game for us - we never learn on here. No idea if you were one of them.

I have to admit I thought swapping McShane for Moore was like for like. Didn't rate Mcshane, didn't rate Moore. Now I think we have got the better of the deal, Moore is much more of a Wakefied type player, whereas McShane IMO never gave it %100 and didn't really want to be at Wakefield anyway. Moore has made us tick this season and i feel confident of a win whenever he's fit and available to play.

He's a bit of a sh1thouse, a nasty niggly player who I can imagine is a proper pain to play against. We severely lack those traits in this squad. Having said the above he has quaility and his play from dummy half gets the team on the front foot.

Did he sign just a one year contract or was it two, if not he needs signing up ASAP, even if were likely to miss him for a number of games due to the inevitable bans .

I used to love playing with a hooker who has the attributes of Scott Moore. Brings plenty of aggression in defence and is solid in every other way.

I totally agree about his attitude - he's a horrible little barsteward and that's a big help in tough situations; and he'll have a shot at anyone, regardless of how big they are. He can be a bit scratchy with discipline, but if you cleaned him up completely, you'd lose the benefit.

In terms of the bog standard hooker attributes - he's as good as I can remember; clean, crisp distribution from DH and knows when to have a run at a broken or tired line. We're much better when he's on the pitch, without question.
