Sad to hear that....always rated him as a player, and he always seemed to play well against us...would have gladly had him in our team any day of the week !!!

Very typical of the players we produce and I have no explanation as to why. Just like Nigel Bell or Mick Cassidy, if they were just a bit bigger they would have been world beaters.

Why is it that we as a nation produce so many big players with the hearts of a mouse and so many small players with the hearts of lions. They are great player but no match for the giant Aussies with hearts to match :(
