Its been a ball on here over the past 10 years or so but our time has come and bad management and false promisies has finally cut us short ... Ted has failed us, his promises, his lies, what he said he do, what he actually did but still got great memories ...

My highlights include

Beating St Helens (undefeated i believe) at oakwell - what a night on sky ...
Beating Salford away to stay up (pitch invasion n all at the end)
The playoffs (finally) beating Hull - the JD try and one of the best atmospheres your likely to be involved in !!
Beating Cas at home to stay up (again !!) but what an emotion of a day ...
The best try ive seen us score in super league ?? the Danny Brough try (interception i think ??) against Leeds at home to finally beat them out pacing Mcguire and Hall and for me having his best game in a Wakefield shirt - then selling to fill a purse ... or too !!!!!
Best players ?? Brough, Solomona and Poching (all had there moments) ...

So whats the future ?? Hopefully a good one ... The 1873 scheme should generate over £120,000 a year for the club and youth system ... I think we have a good and sensible chairman who is a business man ( once the figures come in this year i still dont think hel be disapointed ... The ground should be upto spec within the next 2 years and or wel have a new stadium by 2014 ... I think we can win the rail cup or league within the next 2 years and give them a difficult decision in the next franchise ... Wel hopefully come back stronger and the club will be in a position to challenge the top 6 on a regular basis and compete to where we were in the 60's ...

A new start, a new future -a good championship - we will be stronger ...

For 3 years at least the Super League will RIP !!! :DEPRESSED:

If if the worse comes to bear on you just keep the faith and never give up on your team,Super league isnt the be all and end all some make it out to be.

I dont go to many SL games nowadays and loved the lower league experience between 1998-2004 when i hardly missed a game.

Keep the faith and rebuild bigger better and stronger.

Waky if going will be back im sure.

Best wishes for tomorrow and more importantly the future.

Regards Peter.

Wouldn't it be great if it wasn't as clear cut as everybody is making out. Shocks have happened before and still can. Thing is it still is a shock by them keeping the teams in that shouldn't! Good luck and keep ur chin up no matter what happens.

If you are correct and we do get a franchise then I will buy you a pint.
