I know amongst all the reaction to your derby defeat today this might not get much read, but this week you've signed Glenn Morrison from us.

This signing will transform you into a club competing to get in the top 4 rather than a club competing to get into the play-offs.

You've signed a model professional, even if his fitness is slightly questionable. He's a leader, Bradford look a million times better with him on the field. He's a defensive workhorse and also contributes his fair share of tries. He's also a brilliant clubman, and all round great guy having met him on a few occasions. He'll bring a great vibrancy to Wakefield.

I'm appalled we haven't given him an extension, he's a superb signing (along with Newton, who I'm also appalled hasn't been given a new contract).

Whats your thoughts on the signing?

I'm delighted by it, he's exactly the type of player we've missed for so many years. Players like Dale Ferguson who have big futures in the game will learn invaluable things from a player of the quality of Morrison.

Also happy with the signing of Turry, don't like the nasty side to his game but there's no doubting his ability with ball in hand.

I am happy bout the signing I rate him very highly I think hes done great for Bradford but he is 33 and his injury record isn't great if he keeps fit he will be great for us.

He'll pick up an injury within the first month, miss a few weeks, come back ahead of schedule, pick up another injury, miss a few months, then come back again. I'd be surprised if you got half a season from Glenn. Cheers for taking him off our books, it's a relief to me.

one of the greatest barometers when judging the quality of a new signing is the reaction of the fans from the club that he is leaving!
