out of our very good academy if you could pick just one who would be the player to break through and be playing first team rugby in say 3 yrs time with us who would it be? My own personal choice after watching them all year probably wouldnt be everyones choice southernwoods skill is there for all to see, annekin can look magnificent although he drifts in and out of the game, graystone has great feet and speed and has the knack of being at the right place at the right time spiers and slater work hard from the front line along with wildie, morton is a good finisher BUT my choice would be KYLE TROUT he can be nasty and have a bit of mongrel about him he is a size already and bangs people about and runs hard when he fills out fully i think he could be a diamond who is everyone elses choice |

Southernwood is the obvious one, he just has that something special about him and is already reminding me of the last top drawer English stand off we had about 15/20 years ago. Will Colleran is the other who stands out for me, his reading of the game is excellent and his tackling technique is also superb. There's a good number there who could go on to make good super league players though and it's important we hold onto them and let them develop through the ranks together. |

Whilst I believe that we have a good up-take of new contracts, we must remember that these lads have drawn a lot of attention and there may be some daft money thrown at them. I would expect us to lose a couple, but it won't be for the lack of trying! |

Danny Cowling, Currently playing in the centres but should make his mark in the backrow once he matures physically. |

Dale Morton, Kyle Trout and Chris Annakin would be my choice, beacuse isn't Cain Southernwood already classed as a first team player? |

Thats the problem with the internet, anyone can post anything. I've heard from a reliable source that Shenton is unhappy and will be at Wakefield next year - total garbarge but I could post anything I want and someone will believe it. |
