Hi, im a Barrow supporter and will be in yorkshire tomorrow looking at a new car in Sheffield. While over would like to maybe catch the wakefield v Cas game. Is it a sell out? if not do i have to buy a ticket at the ground before entry or can you pay on gate? Is there parking nearby?

Thanks

Pretty sure you can pay at the gate so no sell out as for parking it can be difficult as it is on street parking sugar lane or barnsley road are about best and easy to get away from and avoid traffic once parked just cut through the graveyard (not very respectful but easiest way through) and follow the floodlights.

Others may have better places to park but thats where i park and always have done.

Just make sure you don't park on the road next to the new flats, they like clamping cars there.

Lots of other parking nearby down the streets, its amatter of pot luck to be honest though.

Can't wait :)

You'll be fine it won't be anywhere near a sellout, enjoy the game and wear your Barrow shirt with pride.

stuffed???
you mean winning by 2 points..because of our lack of a decent goalkicker..even though it was 5 tries to 4 in our favour..ok you won the game..
but i think we stuffed you a bit more at belle vue...

Just got back from the game and I am very disappointed with the performance of the players today.

We looked very flat after two big games against Leeds and St Helen's but this was a local derby and the players should be able to get themselves up for this one!

We made too many errors then gave away stupid penalties throughout the game. We also bombed too many scoring chances obviously Richard Moore ignoring a three-man overlap but we also had Michael Korkidas knocking on right on the line in the first half.

We looked hesitant under the kick and we were slow to support the ball carrier when Cas were gang tackling and pushing us back.

Some of our kicking choices were puzzeling to say the least resulting in us turning the ball over on the 40 m line and putting ourselves back under pressure when we really needed the ball.

All in all a pretty disappointing display after the promise of the two performances in the last two games.

Final word is on the referee who allowed Castleford to lay on in the tackle and play offside throughout the game but at the end of the day they played to the conditions and that included the referee.
