To be fair to the club, he had a match on his 10th and 20th, then an evening do on his 30th.

yes but the club did not organise that.

So? Their facilities were made use of, weren't they? I'd assume they were at least accomodating in the arrangements over his first and second one? I also get the impression it isn't unusual for these things to be done by volunteers rather than the employers.

I'm not trying to demean the efforts of you or others, nor am I trying to say JT isn't deserving. However, at times it does seem like people expect the club to do everything and will moan regardless.
