Good to see, along with the news that 8 others have taken coaching courses. Obviously some still question what he offers, personally I'm just glad the likes of him and Drew have fought it out to show us what they can offer, rather than jack in and let the moaners get to em. As long as his coaching doesn't get in the way of him being the league's top try assister, and kicker, he he.

As for the others, just a thought, but maybe the involvement in coaching has encouraged a bit more responsibility for the development of their own game & team commitment, partly explaining why we've been much better so far in terms of silly decisions & penalties.

Its always good to see players doing this.


If i had my way every overseas player playing in SL would have to do their coaching badge and help out one night a week for an hour coaching at junior club level.

That would be written into their SL/club contract, i've seen the impact at clubs with players involvment and it does work, i know you should not have to force them but it would work.

Thoughts.

i agree with that 101% it should also come with the role of captaincy
