It seems we still have people of the opinion that JK is not up to it as coach, the wonders that this guy has done for the club are unbelievable, Yet we still have people having thinly veiled digs at the guy.

When Kear was at Hull i couldnt stand him as a coach and when we appointed him i was not that happy at all but what did it matter we where going down and we would probably never see the SL light of day again unless we found a very wealthy sugar daddy.

The gut worked a Miracle that season and nothing short of it, he then supplied us with misfits who could not cut it and what do you know all these misfits are being talked about for England selection.

He has made us able to go into games believeing we can win them even when we are down to our last 17 players playing some of the so called big 4/5 yet still people can't help having a dig.

I appreciate everyone has an opinion and are rightly entitled to them but please try and look at the bigger picture.

Pacmans comment regards to lets see at the business end of the season to compare if it was the right decision has to be the most ridiculous comment i have seen on here for years. Look at the transcript of the press conference and also the video of the previous weeks press conference to see how much of an amateur Lowes is.

There has been a fair bit of praise on here for the players in these troubled times and rightly so but i dont feel that we have mad a big enough deal of how important JK has been in all of this, could you see Tony Smith or Shane Mac doing the same with the same bunch of players?

kear saved the club as simple as
i too wasnt a fan of kear when he was at hull, and wasnt too sure when we signed him, but hes certainly proved me wrong, now i cant think of any manager in the game better for the job

Whilst not agreeing OR disagreeing with the question of 'were we right to sign JK?' I for my money think the whole arguement is void as JK was given the chance JL wasn't,JK kept us up JL never got the chance.

To ASUME we would've gone down in 2006 if JL was in charge is foolhardy as no one will ever know.

In answer to the thread i'm JK all the way but far from anti JL my point being one got the chance one didn't meaning you cannot speculate on a hypothetical situation.

And again!

There are other very good coaches out there who would not come close to doing what John has done for your club. Similarly, there are clubs out there where JK's style would not work.

John was made for Wakey and Wakey were made for John. Square peg = Square hole! :D

Is this the silliest poll ever, if someone says James Lowes you will need your head testing Kear is the best coach we have in 25 years! Before we cut corners got half price rubbing rags.

Agreed it is a hypothetical situation but looking at what he has managed at warrington and his comments after wires 2 games i for one am certainly glad he didn't get the chance and feel we would be all talking about very different things to what we are now. If it was my decision back then i would have maybe gone for Lowes myself as i stated i was not a fan of Kear and although i have never really liked the way that Lowes comes across i rated him very highly as a player and thought he would have been good to maybe start our rebuilding.

Agreed but I was always a fan of JK and still can't for the life of me understand Hulls sacking of him  their loss our gain, onwards and upwards.

As for Jimmy, well great player but we'll never know maybe Warringtons problems stem from TOO many stars (and Briers) trying to be bigger than Jimmy. Would Trin have suited him?

One thing I do know is every player who speaks of Trin say their is a massive 'togetherness' within the club, do we have something others don't?? I'd say so 8)

The only people who will vote for Lowes are Warrington fans ;)
