Whilst JK is rightly taking the plaudits for our performances I feel Paul Broadbent should also be sharing the accolades.

Before the season started deep reservations were being expressed about our packs ability to compete. The consensus was that it would be considerably weaker this season.

Well the opposite is true. Even without Moore, Sculthorpe and Latu, the forwards have matched and often out-played 4 excellent packs, with every single forward significantly raising his standard of performance over last season.

Well done Beans - take a bow.

Excellent point well made. Completely agree.

We're we've lacked size, experience and presence we've shown true grit, determination and commitment and the togetherness of the team as a whole is excellent to see.

Big raps to all the coaching setup as its a team effort but whatever the coaches are doing, let's hope they keep doing it :)

We started off well last year but faded, the real challenge will be if we can sustain the level and consistency as that's what will turn us into a top 8 team.

Every general needs a dependable leiutenant to turn to in case of danger and in Beanz, that's exactly what JK has got. Its not just the forwards that look buffed up, anybody else notice the amount of meat on Luke George last night? He was thin as a rake last season and now looks alot stronger.

What I meant was that Luke looks a lot more stocky than he did last season.

Did not see Kear on Sky when i got in last night as i sky plus'd the match as it was being played live and it does not record the red button extra half hour. But as a rule Kear is usually the first to praise a\nd admit Broadbent's role/input.

At the audience with night he talks very astutly, very concicly (I cant spell..) and very humbly about our club and rugby league. Front rowers arent noted for their intelligence but I reckon Beans is one smart cookie.
