His comments are astute, insightful, he carries the composure of a man confident in his convictions. He obviously has the respect of every player at the club but seems to balance that by being part of their collective.
I like the fact that he admitted to making a mistake last year when bringing all the senior players back at the expense of the younger guys who had done so well.
It won't happen this year as he has assured the players in posession that they will have to lose form or be injured before he will replace them. Senior players coming back from injury will be forced to gain form and match fitness via the reserves, As it should be!
I know this to be true as Danny Brough has already been told he is with the reserves a week on Monday for his comeback and Scully is with the reserves tomorrow.
