Next up at Belle Vue - the Dragons. Not an easy one - as we've only had a few games against them, but some good memories (and some bad ones) none-the-less. I really need Red White and Blue on this one - as I think she was the only one to travel to France for that Triezte tournament (or whatever it was called), back in 1998 after we were promoted. It's not Catalans - but it's close enough! So off you go, let's see what we can put together! Cheers, Phil |

Paul Broadbent riding around the square on a random bike he picked up outside the bar as the players and fans were mixing after a great win at the end of last season. Worst memory Atkins cracking side show on that very same night! To be fair there's not so much you can remember on these trips! |

Worst memory Atkins cracking side show on that very same night! To be fair there's not so much you can remember on these trips! That was funny. I think he picked the bike up from inside the bar and rode it out of the bar into the square and back into the bar. The bike was certainly in the bar afterwards as it was at the top of the steps down to the toilets. The Atkins/Peterson incident was a "storm in a teacup". They were drinking together like friends not long afterwards. Also that night I was talking to Danny Brough and he thanked us (the fans) for coming along and supporting the team which I thought was a nice touch. One incident I believe the season before last in Perpignan. We were getting beat and a small section of the Wakefield fans were getting at the team. Johnny Thompson tried to "calm" the situation and one of the abusive fans shouted back at him with words to the effect "who the hell are you and how long have you been watching Wakefield" - it brought the house down. |

In 2007 we flew from Liverpool to Girona and hired a car. On the flight over the woman next to me with the baby changed it's nappy twice (very s****y and very smelly) on the seat next to me. The dirty s*d then proceeded to stuff ithem under the seat in front. Scousers eh? Can't take em anywhere |

I shat through the eye of a needle after having the French equivilent of a muckeebab after the game the first year. The loonies threatening to start scrapping with the locals, then the other Wakey fans the second year. That gobby Australian women shouting abuse to anyone who would listen. |
