I will say this slow and hopefully this time it may sink in wether we are a backward place or not is irrelevant the fact is WE DO NOT NEED CASH OFF THE COUNCIL FOR OUR GROUND, we are building it with the assetts from the 17 acres of land the backward club that is Fev own. Unlike the forward thinking Wildcats WE DO NOT NEED COUNCIL CASH. I also would not poo, poo the idea if i were you because your not exactly inundated with options now are you

I always knew that the council favoured Cas over Trinity!

Wakefield do not need, and will not be getting any, council cash either. none of the three WMDC clubs will be getting any. They will be receiving help from the council in other areas (planning, advice) like both Cas and Fev but the council will not be directly funding any venue.

Don't assume for one second that, because you haven't heard anything, that nothing is happening.
You go away and concentrate on looking after all things Featherstone, as is right and proper, and let us worry about Wakefield.
1, 2 or even all 3 clubs may well end up with new stadia - and I can't see a problem with all 3 having stadia, as long as the rules are followed and the chain can be audited.
For now, consider your idea poo-poo'd! OK?
