How's your team looking for this week? Anyone else due back?

We have lost Senior and Burrow is still not fit. Buderus and Bailey will be in the squad this week though.

Don't know the extent of the injury to Rooney, possibly back.
Snitch possibly out.
But you never know with JK with regard to injuries; cue Vastman. :)

Nope.

It's looking like same again for us assuming that Snitch is fit. So who will be your centres, I think we may just have an edge there this week, don't think Sinfield at s/o does you any favours either so if we can go into the game with the same belief that we did against Wigan we might be in with a shout although TBH a good performance and not getting a tanking would be acceptable for most of us I think. Not many would have expected any points at all from the first two games so anything from this one would be a massive bonus to us, we can live in hope and history dictates that we have more chance with it being at your place than at ours.

Leeds should be something like this:

Smith
Donald
Watkins
Gibson
Hall
Sinfield
McGuire
Bailey
Diskin
Peacock
Jones-Buchanan
Lauitiiti
Ablett

Buderus
Leuluai
Burgess
Kirke

We have Webb, Senior, Burrow, Eastwood out.

We should be something like this:

Blaymire
Blanch
Gleeson
Martin
Halley
Grix
Obst
Stosic
Drew
Wilkes
Snitch (hopefully)
Ferguson
Demetriou

Bibey
Bibb
Pitts
Henderson

If Snitch is out it looks more than likely that part timer Blake will come in on the bench with Pitts probably pushed up in to the starting 13

Missing for us - Atkins Peterson Rooney Brough Sculthorpe Latu Moore George Murphy Soutrhernwood. Possibly Snitch as mentioned.

Isn't Blake an Hooker? If snitch is out I think we will after take another dip into the academy and get a forward.

We really could do with Rooney back this week at least on the Bench because we are asking a lot of Brad Drew to do back to back 80 mins. After all the guy is 33 and I can't see the conditions been as bad this Friday. The game will probably be at a faster speed, If we have any chance of a sniff we need to have rotating hookers on the pitch.

On the subject of injuries, does anyone know exactly what is wrong with Danny Sculthorpe, I know we were told his wrist but no body said how long or we to just keep guessing?

Rooney's dithering and failure to create anything in attack has caused us more problems than having Drew play for 80 minutes would IMO. I also thought that all three playmakers played very well together on Sunday so would be loathe to see changes made there simply because a so called start player was back available, and we would be taking a big chance that he was actually fit anyway so bringing him in could a bigger gamble than taking the chance on Drew lasting another 80.
Our problems started last season when we unsettled a winning side by bringing back players that were not match ready, I would hope that JK has learned a lesson from that. If we do need another hooker then let's bring a hooker in as a direct replacement rather than bringing another stand off in and re organising the whole team half way through the game to accomodate him.

Will you celebrate like you have won the league like you did on Boxing day when you beat our academy?
