is it only me or is anyone else just a little bit bored of eddies constant ramblings re the boys from the valleys (do they have valleys in australia??)
his constant "roy of the rovers" comments about how well they have done to get into super league in record time is starting to get my goat (notice i didnt say sheep, that would have been a cheap shot!!).
Bankrolled by the rfl and guaranteed a franchise by super league never seems to get much of a mention!!!!
south of france, yes!!
south of wales, no!!!!

Because neither of those facts are correct and quite frankly you're talking out of your @rse.

"guaranteed a franchise by super league"
Of course they were and if you believe they weren't then you must still believe in Santa!!Apart from expansion why were they fastracked into Super league ahead of Widnes?

Because Widnes were in administration with massive debts and no players or staff just months before the decision was made. I also do not see how finishing 2nd in NL1 equates to 'fast tracking'. Even if it had been based on on-field results, Celtic would still have gone up ahead of Widnes who finished 6th. It was not the RFL's idea to have a club in South Wales and it is not their fault that Celtic have been so successful. Your argument has absolutely no foundation.

So are you suggesting that Leighton Samuels works for, or 'is' the RFL? Or that Celtic were 'guaranteed a franchise by super league', despite the fact that 'Super League' refers to majority decisions made by the club chairmen, and that they were not responsible for the licencing decisions? If so have you any evidence to back this up, or are you just going to come up with some more hilarious jokes about 'ventrilaquists'?
