Shamelessly stole from the Cas forum but a good topic i thought. So if you could have just one player from ANY era back who would it be? The only rule is that you HAVE to have seen him play. Ray Price for me, never seen a player put the effort in quite like he did. |

Wally Lewis - to have had him in his prime and motivated, that would have been pure magic. |

Price was a machine and never knew when we were beaten - epitomises the true spirit every player and every team should have. Henry Paul was simply world class and could win a game on his own which when he did at Wigan unfortunately cost us his services! How ironic Wigan tapping up players Does it still go on??? |

ray price always for me he came with a point to prove and did it both on and off the field, always remember some pundit saying we went for a "battered old lock with a beard", and the first game he played he had the old style boots on!! his qf performance against wigan when he played on with broken fingers said it all. that and clattering ellerery hanley every single time he got the ball that season cos he was gb loose forward and best in world at the time! total class |

Wally Lewis for me. Only played 10 games for us I think but what a player. Probably the best player I have seen play although Neil Fox will take some beating. |
