i sincerely hope mathers isnt signed. he is a cowardly thug and he is just not up to this level at all. he has been garbage for years.

Much as I like Obst think hes a sound bloke we dont need him. I think he would do a great job for us again but I really dont think we need him. He loves the club and he gave is all think its a disgrace how they are treating him at Hull ! The Tongia situation is so annoying we need a update from the club whats happening with him....

We don't need one - we'd like one and, given the flow of information thesedays through Twitter, Facebook and the club website, there's no reason to believe we won't get one, when it's appropriate and expedient for it to happen.

he was the best player on the field by a country mile in the cup game with cas. he's not my favourite, but to deny that he is talented is just daft.

i suspect, and i have no evidence to back this up, that englishman rangi chase's new deal will mean that they have to unload one or two of their higher earners to make ends meet at cas. who have they signed to date?

If they are letting him go it appears it is to make room for Lee Smith, i would prefer it if Cas could accommodate both players, and we kept Tongia personally.

I don't think I would ever use the word cowardly about any Rugby League player. I do however think he is sneaky, niggly and a bit of a s**t.

Having said that your assessment of his ability is way off the mark IMO. He is a very good attacking option and played almost like an extra halfback for Cas against us last year, a lot of their ggod play went through him. Not so convinced about his defensive attributes however and given all those factors I would rather give Tongia a go, but it's not our choice is it, it is Agar's.
