I think it will be left the longest I suspect.
If the north is done it will be to the steps at best. If the west is done it will go as far as the touch line/bar area. The west corner will likely remain for some time.
There is some ideal space in that bottom south west corner to add a facility of reasonable size. I would imagine when the west is redeveloped it will have a 2 floor building on the south west corner that will be utilised for a player development facility.
That said, if Ellis has bought the bathroom place next to car park then that could become a training/development facility also if you get rid of the pavement between car park and that building, close off the car park road entrance. Level what’s there and you can build a facility twice the size as you can then utilise the large car park for visitors outside match day.
There are numerous options. I’m sure Ellis will have a PM and all these will be considered using the correct tools.

Also it would make loads more sense to have another 'clock'. The one on the gantry on the western terrace is pretty useless. One in the east above the hospitality would be good
I would agree that it is pretty hopeless to see the clock unless you are in the East stand but I think it's primary purpose is to be seen from wherever the official timekeeper is located, presumably the East Stand. It also has to be visible to the referee and presumably can't be replicated except through Sky.
As all SL games are televised, we just need to see the main screen.
How times have change , seems only a short time ago we were all on tenterhooks wondering if we’d actually survive as a club ,fast forwards and were now moaning we can’t get a good view of the big screen . Solution get yer hand in yer pockets n get in the east stand , perfect view of the big screen , simple

You're right KK, we've been spoilt already and its great! Have been in the East Stand and have to say again that it's well nice. Just like the standing behind the sticks - while I still can!
We have to remember that next year it wont just be about the screen being used as a scoreboard, we will all want to watch when the video ref goes to the screen.

I loved my many years behind the sticks with or without the roof Barnsley ,it wasn’t the standing that was the problem it was the walking at the end that left me looking like a robot trying to get the knees working ,all very painful. At 6’5 the seats are snug but I can stand and stretch my legs and so far not had the same trouble with seating as standing
Surely if they are to utilise the north stand to its full potential at some point won’t that require the roofline to be lifted to access the space at the rear ,which hopefully will give fans a better view of the screen to a point

Exactly or a new roof altogether which would probably be not too much more than moving and extending etc (maybe even cheaper!).
If we are looking to seriously increase attendence then the north is the obvious choice. You could squeeze 2k more if a proper job was done all way to the rear. As you say the screen then would be visible mostly
There’s a knock on effect for everything which is why it will be project managed properly and the correct decisions made I’m sure from Ellis and family.
There are plans afoot for large parts of the stadium ,both inside and out to be redeveloped, let’s not forget about the kitchen/bed shop on donny rd , that is going to blow you away when it’s redeveloped . We are very very lucky to have a family that are mad passionate about our club ,and will stop at nothing ,and have the financial clout to realise those ambitions that will drive this club to the next level ,and beyond anything we could ever have envisaged or hoped for .
