although the performance hasn't always been there apart from the last couple of weeks, there has a been a strange feel good factor that hasn't been here for a while

sandcat20 wrote:I've stayed supporting through thick and thin for about 50 years. In that time I've seen really great highs and some pretty miserable lows, but to me, if you're a real fan, you stick with your club whatever happens because it's the club you support - not just this season's players, coach, owner, performance.

So as you can guess I'll be there next season whatever happens!!!!

I have been a rugby league fan all my life but only a wakey fan for five of them, i am going nowhere we all know what the RFL is like so let them get on with it. Sky sports will be finished with me too because i think they are part of it.

1) Don't underestimate the quality in the championship. - They're will be plenty in that league capable of competing for 'the trophies'. Wakey will NOT have it there own way.

2)Getting back into SL????   Aye, when you've entered the land that the RFL have forgotten, you'll realise your knuckles are bleeding from knocking on the RFL's door, but when no-one answers you will have the same expression on your face as me!!

After what feels like an eternity at championship levels and some of your fans have begun to seek their entertainment elsewhere, you will also realise that Fax and Leigh (subject to sponsorship/finances etc) are probably higher in the RFL's pecking order than Wakey!!

Is it fair?? Is it sheeite!!!! But that's the hand that we have dealt ourselves. The Wakey clubs BoD at the time voted this system in!!!

It's cobblers but in another 3 years time when you see your hopes dashed and another club from France get a SL instead of wakey, you will experience some of the same bitter fruit I've been chompin on for years!!

If it weren't for Fev I'd walk away from this bag o' crapola! But, like Al, I refuse to yeild!

Well said i watch the championship and it is very competative.

H2O wrote:Am with you Al. Wakey are my team and I'll support them through thick and thin. I'll still be buying my season ticket even if it is for championship rugby.

If your a real fan you will stick with the club. It would be nice to play fev on boxing day instead of the whinoes.

Thornes park was perfect.

imwakefieldtillidie wrote:I'll follow Wakefield whichever division they're in. Even if we stay up I think the games corrupt, because for me sport can only be a sport if there are winners and losers that are decided on the pitch, not in offices. I'd like to say I won't be going to any more internationals in protest, but I gave up on those when Kiwis started playing for Great Britain and everyone started swtiching to countries they could get a game with then switching back when needed. At least it's not just the domestic game that's bent.

Cannot fault you on that. You play for the country you were born in.

Back in darkest January it was said by many "if we go into administration and into the championship so be it ",well it may happen but no means sure to do . But I shall be there because this is MY TEAM ,and have the thick end of fifty years of my life tied up with this club,it is easier to give up heroin than trinity. So I will be there shouting on my team and will not let the B*st***s grind me down.
