I think it’s usually a mixed bag on Boxing Day from both teams and I’m fine with that.
Probably start out reasonably strong for 30 and then see plenty of interchanges.
The one thing I’m hoping to see on Boxing Day and pre season is for us to re-affirm the defensive structure and intent.
I know it was championship last season but I was impressed by how structured, aggressive and fit the defence was almost all season. Something I’d not seen at trinity for quite some time.
I don’t think the physicality in the middle is too much different from Championship but the edges are bigger and better drilled so I’m sure we will be prepared.
Reading the TJ interview he received his pre season plan end of last season. That shows exactly how efficient we have become behind the scenes.
