[quote="Trinity18"]Honestly it's baffling how stupid fans can be... well done Wrencat1873 you're exactly right (like me all the time)

"Assuming that we make the top 8, which in no longer a given, Chester will have plenty of time to set his squad up for next season."

That's when "young Crowther" (you sound like his mum ricardo07) can be brought in to prove that the season he's spent in the Championship has paid off, I'm really not impressed by any performance he puts in for Dewsbury who are currently 9th in the league.[/quote

Crowther has never been given a fair chance to prove himself in the first team. At least if he played he is a natural back rower.
Hampshire has played dozens of SL games and the majority of supporters see him as a half back not a FB.
2 seasons ago Jowitt looked to be on the way to the top as a FB, again since then he has not been given time to prove himself.

Anyone who watched Catalans last few months last year would of known what we were getting with horo (I did say it at the time as well) his form or non form is not a surprise to me.

I don't think Horo was as bad for Catalan as he has been for us. He was looking like a good signing during the end of 2017. I was looking forward to seeing him replace Kirmond.

Big loss for us tomorrow night is Ashurst.

Morning Trinity fans,

The Trinity18 that you all know and love logging on, one day closer to our away game. The mighty Widnes, strong squad named for our clash but a squad I know our lads can turn over.

I'll grit my teeth and admit we need some stability, if this means playing Jowitt fullback then so be it. I wouldn't personally but I'm not the coach of Wakefield Trinity. We need a classy outing from our halves and a strong, dominant performance from the forwards.

Horo, Arona and Kirmo all need to up their game otherwise I would say Crowther should be recalled.

Put MCB in there to give us some cover in the backs in case of injury, but I guess at a push you could use Horo or Annakin in the centres so could swap another forward onto the bench.

Indeed - irrespective of the team performance, he's like clockwork; always does what he's supposed to, and works really hard in attack and defence. An outstanding player - easily the best business we've done in a good while.

100% agree. Another 1st name on the team sheet. :)

His record speaks for itself, ever present at every club he's been at and enjoys a try now and then.

Anyone making the trip over?

I hate it in Widnes.

An oxymoron - nice!

Out of interest, who else do you consider to be in by default? I would have had a decent list until recently, but even the most reliable have dropped off, for various reasons - Arona, BJB, TJ, Finn, Huby - all looking a bit shaky at present.
