All clubs are doing everything possible to be in the top 12 decided by IMG’s ratings. I bet there are supporters at every club not A rated looking for any negatives from the other teams. I suppose this is an attempt to calm any internal fears they may hold regarding Trinity’s own status. We know what we need to do and now we are capable of meeting these requirements to stay in the top 12. The other clubs also know but based on the provisional ratings they have to do more to pass us and we will be adding further known points not considered in the provisional ratings.

Haven’t seen anything. They’ve signed a few whilst in them so suspect they will be in special measures until their situation improves.
Personally had it not been for two reasonably successful seasons on the pitch I think Salford would have really struggled and collapsed as a club. Their recent finals etc have pretty much kept their head above water but one bad season and could all go pear shaped for them.
Never known anything like this. It's loan after loan plus player sales and fan investment, possibly best part of £1m to keep running.
I don't see how any sort of deal on the stadium changes that kind of operational deficit.
Interesting quote from the leader of the conservatives on the council "This is not the first time it's happened, over the last few years we've had urgent requests for money because they'd run out. This is the club that will be paying rent on the stadium, if they can't even afford to run the club how can we justify buying it without sufficient income? The whole thing doesn't stand up."

And they are in special measures and have signed a few players including a big signing couple weeks ago from nrl whilst in them. Who signs off on that? It stinks. They should cut their cloth and rely on loans or younger players then maybe they wouldn’t have the begging bowl out or the public of Salford wouldn’t be paying for these signings and to keep them afloat.
What is the purpose of special measures?
I dare say Salford have been hanging on a while now and if not for these things and some reasonable success on the pitch recent years they would be in real danger of folding as a team or diving towards lower leagues.

For all clubs, achieving an "A" grade is the only way to be certain of SL status. Without it, the future will be volatile. How and if we can get there has to be the no 1 aim.

THIS is the hilarious bit..
A club spokesperson said:
"To challenge the perpetual false narrative that the club seemingly does not pay its way, we would also like to be clear that the club have paid and continue to pay rent on a monthly basis that is higher than any amount paid by any of the club’s previous ownership since moving into the Salford Community Stadium."
So, they still don't pay full rent - just more than the last owners - and think that that means they are paying their way!

Utter sham of a club!
Last probably paid like minimal but this could even just be half rent or less. That statement doesn’t tell you anything.
Off the field Salford are a bit of a basket case who are pumping the money into a playing squad it seems that’s not sustainable.
I bet these money injections though count as a positive on the finance img as external funding brought in which if that’s the case would truly be laughable. They are lifelines to keep the club alive. If they stop then it will likely mean Salford going into admin.
