thanks John and I mean that personally for saving the club i love from possible extinction when you arrived, rebuilding it, protecting it when many around would have crumbled, and making it, despite everything, the pride of rugby league.

At some point i hope you are able to reflect and take stock, and realise that whatever happens from here on in you will always have a place in any wakefield fans heart.

JC
For me he is every bit as special as the chap in your Avatar and i do not often compare people to the great one.

Thank you John, a real Gentleman.

no me neither
but i remember when pricey arrived ray french having a right go, some fans were against it, and league express had an article about it.
and he put in the most inspirational season i have ever seen from a player and helped so many around him.

so they are rightly in the same mold, and in their love of rl.

I didn't know much about Ray and thought we where barking mad to offer him a contract, I thought we where wrong in getting Kear.

How wrong was i.

and very noble of you to admit it,
I admired him at hull as was glad we had someone at the time who had some success under his belt, the relief that he saved from relegation and from then he has just gone on from strength to strength

From my personal knowledge of the man and my observation of Wakey in recent times, John Kear and Trinity deserve each other. Well done to both, you are a credit to our sport.

Good article, but I'm not keen on the current trend to villify Bailey for a tackle that was legal and has certainly been used on numerous occasions by his "victim" to great effect. A huge double standard which cheapened the piece (I realise it was a separate article but it was linked) , and no I don't like Bailey either but then I'm not keen on Fassavalu either.

It's not easy to be objective about Ryan Bailey but that is a fair point.
