7-1 somethings never change, congrats to the 8s . with any luck the 9s will get a game next week. east leeds were a bit shocked about the rules but we knew weeks ago about them.

i think its all been done on the hush hush,i only found out a fortnight since but we will grasp the nettle and give it a go,a lot of clubs seems as though its a nightmare and their a bit scared of the rules but if you dont try you will never know.
where away at stanningley next week who was one of the teams pulled up for not playing the new rules hopefully now their up to speed and ready to go next week or my kids will be really dissapointed.
What are all the 'new rules' you keep mentioning for the kids?
We put this festival on you b*st*rds
With a lotta love
We worked for one year for you pigs
And you wanna break our walls down
And you wanna destroy us
Well you go to hell

in a nut shell the under 9s are now allowed a marker at the PTB , kicking is allowed in general play , points are now 4 for a try and 2 for a conversion ( Conversions now part of game) and you can play the ball fast and get awarded a penalty for offside.
This used to happen in the 10s but now its 9s.
IMO once they have played 1 game they are used to it.

Stanley Rangers A 20 16 Cas Pathers A
What a game, the result was in doubt rigth till the final whistle! thats how close it was between both sides, the game had everything from sending offs to been held up over the line in the last minute,to a prop doing a chip and chase re gathering off loading the supporting and then going 30mtrs in the corner to win the game for Rangers!
