Incredible. Absolutely tore them to shreds in the 1st half. McMeeken is the Catalyst, he’s so dominant and plays big minutes, it allows for others to be rested ie Uele. Wraps on Crofty, player at SR full game, good lad.

Crofty has found his position and I’m glad DP has recognised it and natured him, I know it’s only one game but I’ve mentioned about Leeds before and stick with that they are a weaker team than last season, probably come back to bite me but I doubt it.

I genuinely hope he makes it his position to lose, it’s very easy to praise quality like McMeeken, Storton and Truman et al…. but Croft is starting a new position and he was solid as a rock, bloody good on him. I had my doubts about Pratt…… I’ll happily eat humble pie with that lad, some talent that. The atmosphere was bouncing, definitely bringing the good vibes back to Wakey.
My take on that after watching it among the Leeds fans in the south stand. Superb first half team performance with some lovely free flowing rugby at times. Think we went into our shell a bit in the second half and didn’t see to want to throw the ball around as much. Special mentions to Pitts, Storton and Russell who showed up very well.
I think for the last 10 of the 1st half and first 10 of the 2nd half we only had McMeeken on as a recognised prop and the likes of Croft, Doyle, Hood and Pitts coping well with the Leeds pack. Which amazed me.
It’s a very encouraging start with so many more exciting players to come back from injury too.

rock solid defending, and I think he will grow into the position... he looks huge now, maybe a future middle???
