Exactly my point. However you say it, Wakefield are an unfashionable club.
It's not that they are picking on us, but Max is currently playing part time players so isn't going to be viewed the same as a Super League player.
Same as when we were in SL. It's harder to show your worth if you are always in a dog fight and never playing in the big cup or end of season games.

Hopefully we'll get him that chance, but I very much doubt we'll have changed hearts and minds by next mid season international.

I've being saying to my family for a while that Max is a superb player. If you swap Max and Welsby everyone would be going on about how good he is. Both have flaws in there game. Max has a passing game that eclipses Welsby, but Welsby is more destructive ball in hand. Neither can defend for toffee.
