Where do you draw the line? If Tim Smith had been done for the same thing during the run to the play offs in 2012, I'm not sure people would have been as quick to want him out. And I do believe some of those calling him would happily have Aiton and Brough back.

"I'm sorry, but I would hope that we would beat Cas with a 1 day turnaround."

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.

The fact that he refused to provide a sample again in my opinion shows what kind of "man" he is and then to put the cherry on the top he submits a sick note to the club for "anxiety"....what a waste of skin he really is. All this aside i still believe he was the most over rated player i have ever seen. Delighted he has gone and well done to Smith and Carter in having some class in binning him instead of playing him in the MPG.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone, mistakes are made by many admitted by few.

Tim Smith is one of the most frustrating players of the Super League era. Someone with great promise who never fulfilled it. He didn't at Parramatta. He didn't at Wigan. He didn't at Salford. In one brief and brilliant spell, he showed it with us. But it was brief, and never to be repeated.

He always seemed like a decent guy, but some players carve a reputation based upon a decade of hard work. For Tim, the back end of one season does not make for an immortal.

I wish him well in his retirement, but I don't mark his retirement with any sadness, other than the sadness of that fact.

EVENTUALLY, WE'LL WIN SOMETHING, ,MAYBE, IF I'M STILL ALIVE THEN

Let's just say that his timing wasn't very good and with our SL future hanging by a thread, for me, it just magnified the stupidity of his actions.
There is no doubting his ability and he provided some magic moments but......................

Firstly, i am fan of Tim Smith the player and have been since he came to the club. I wish him well for the future.

As well as his first stint with us, in my opinion he was also good on his return from Salford (on loan) and was the catalyst to us winning a few games under Webster and staying in the league at Bradford's expense.

This year he has been bang average, but who hasnt?!

I cant excuse the car incident. Those involved have only themselves to blame. If/when the full story ever does come out, Tim's reputation will be shot further.
As it stands its done and gone and fortunately for them, nobody else was injured. We can only hope that the incident made them realise the stupidity of their ways to the point that it is something they wont repeat. Unfortunately i wouldn't bet on it as none of the people involved are the brightest!!
