Indeed. As said before, segregation adds to 'us' and 'them', and it also allows for bravehearts to try to look hard in front of their boozed up mates with empty threats and hand gestures. Funny how they aren't so quick to do so when the opposition fans are stood a few yards away from them.
The only downside is that it perhaps kills a bit of the atmosphere, as so many people are spread out and migled amongst each other, it makes it hard for that vocal element of support that some supporters pride themselves upon.
