But we need another prop if we don't want to move Vagzna from second row, nove Cozza from 13 or play a kid who isn't ready for a full season.
Probably because we agree.
I think we will start to struggle if we hit an injury in the back row as well as prop but I think luck could play a part. Let’s hope we don’t have to worry about it too much.
Will be very interesting to see what we do with the last quota spot. So long as it’s quality coming in then all good.
There’s a few things to consider like Pitts and Griffin and whether this is their last year in Superleague (or not).
A top quality 13 would be my personal preferred option. But I trust the club as I’ve been impressed with the recruitment.

Strange one with Cozza. I thought he came back looking fit and strong back end of last season and looked pretty good at 13.
I think as rotation/back up he has something to contribute. It’s hard to say not seeing him at SL level much but I’m going to reserve judgement on him just yet as I’ve not really made my mind up about him.

Agree on Cozza. He’s a really good all round player, just not brilliant at this level. And that’s a good player to have backing up. If we signed a top drawer 13 they’d surely depose Pitts, and do we need that this year? Next year, absolutely.
I’m happy with our squad, have been for months. My only concern is our depth on the wing, but I’d be fine with Myers getting a shot (he has played there), or us bringing someone strong in on loan should it come to it.
As for Makin, I was keen when I first heard about it, but reading that article my heart sank a bit. It’s totally fair of him to want to play for Wigan, but I’d only really want players who are desperate to play for Wakey right now, like Isaac Shaw. Perhaps Makin’s a slightly better player than Shaw - is it worth that shift in culture?

True, but he wasn’t as good a player 5 years ago. Funny how it works like that for some players - right conditioning, right life stage, right role. I’m sure he wishes it had all happened sooner too.

Yes good point, just look at Westerman, played arguably the best rugby of his career with us.

Yes agree on both counts. I'd rather put faith in Shaw. The mind set is a big part of being successful and Makin's isn't on Wakefield
And as you and Trojan say, we have to wait and see with Cozza. Right now I think he's good backup with potential to be good starter.
