I know that it did not affect the result, but the subs bench looked disjointed. Maybe if Walmsley had have started at FB, Max up to the halves and Liam Kay on the bench we could have freshened the pack up more regularly. Because of the three forwards and one back we did not get Walmesley on to the pitch until the final quarter. I always think if you can make 12 interchanges use them, especially at difficult parts of the game.
That’s the big question for the run-in. Is it Jowitt and Gale in the halves with Walmsley at full back? Or does Powell put Trueman in and keep Max at full back?

Has to play if fit. We've struggled in the half backs for months I look forward to having two genuine halfbacks in the team, although Max Jowitt is not far away from being a very competent stand off but he's an even better FB
