[quote="PopTart"]I don't actually think the difference is that great between Olpherts and Walmsley.
They are completely different players but it depends what you want.

In our half Olpherts gains ground and gets us out of trouble.
In their half Walmsley is lightening and scores tries.

I don't think we can really make a bad choice.[/quot

Walmsley gets through heaps of work in backfield and if there is the slightest of gaps, he'll be gone.
Also, Walmsley seems to have a superb understanding with Jowitt.

That seems crazy.
All the facilities and the tech in place and it's a final.

Just seems another example of this game being undervalued??? 3 finals and only 2 getting the attention a final deserves . Shameful attitude by the RFL towards the 2 teams and fans of the 1895 final !!!!

Am I alone in not being bothered? Having seen some of the farcical VR decisions in recent weeks I'd rather keep the game flowing.

Not bothered at all. We haven`t had a video ref all season and we won`t for any other game, including the championship final so don`t see why this should be different. The system surrounding the video ref is a shambles anyway, ref can send a perfectly good try up as no try and if they don`t have the right angle to gain what they call `sufficient evidence` to overturn the live call then it will be chalked off.

I've no problem with in goal touch judge.

And on the subject of us being under valued, that's because we are a lower value.
It's great we are in a final at Wembley but we are not of equal standing as the Challenge Cup. ....... you are just going to have to accept it.

100%.

The way I look at is, is before we were in the championship and the 1895 cup, did I go out of my way to watch it? No. Was I bothered about it? No. If the game was on TV and it happened to be on the channel I was on, I might watch it, dependant on whether or not are lass wanted to watch Eastenders. Without looking, I couldn`t tell you a single winner of the comp since it started, I actually couldn`t tell you how long it`s been going. Some may view that as ignorant, but it`s just the truth. I actually don`t know many people that have taken an interest before.

Now I'm invested, of course, because it`s my club but I can`t now start demanding everyone values the game higher and takes notice because I never would have done before.

Ohhhh so it's your club is it? Weird because Matt Ellis comes across as a lot smarter than you do.

Do you not see it as your club Timmy?

It's certainly my team. I guess we support in different ways.
