Not sure if it was linesmen or ref but there weee some head scratchers in that.
What infuriates me most is the players are constantly playing at a higher tempo and constantly landing on their fronts but aren’t allowed a quick play and often get slowed down. I think because it’s championship there’s a lot of leniency afforded to opposition teams. Must be really frustrating for the players. How we pay at a much higher pace but don’t get hardly any repeat sets and seemingly every week on wrong end of penalty count is very strange indeed.
Anyway the officials had a better second half letting the game flow a bit more.
As for the game. Our forwards are just a different class in this league. The speed at which our middles play at must give opposition players nightmares.
Bain impressed me today. Got a great pair of hands close to the line and looks every inch a loose. Certainly finding his fitness now.
Some tough choices next week.
Players like Olpherts playing well and Bain having a cracker today really makes tough selection choices.
Bain up there for MoM today for me put on some monster hits and runs hard every-time he gets the ball, certainly staked his claim for a Wembley shirt with that performance

Struggled with kick offs yesterday, whether that was the low sun, some great kicks from Dewsbury or a bit of disorganisation with Jowitt out, but it's something to work on this week. It meant we lost the impetus after scoring along with giving penalties away in the opposition 20, especially in the first half, which left Dewsbury off the hook.
It seemed a more complete performance in the second half so Powell must have had a word.
Shame for Cozza as I imagine he'd definitely out on the concussion protocols.
