I wonder how many of the fans who are moaning (not specifically here on this thread) attend the Magic weekend when held over here.

Dublin would be an absolutely stupid idea, it's expensive enough to go over and stay in Dublin as it is without the hotels smacking some sort of "events weekend charge" like Newcastle did to me.
It does my head in because now I'm not working it's hard to get money together and RL/hotels/bars put their prices up which makes it almost impossible for me to attend when I'm only claiming JSA.
It's unlikely it'll be in Newcastle again, they've put all their efforts into getting the Union European cup. In all probability, given the new RFL HQ, I'd be surprised if it's not at the Etihad again. I wouldn't mind Dublin (very expensive though) or Liverpool. I enjoyed Edinburgh but understand why others didn't. But please don't take it to Coventry.

Wouldn't mind seeing it played at my local, Eastmoor Rugby League Club. Cheap beer and would get to meet a lot of fans, wouldn't knacker me with travel costs either as I live over the road.
Can't see it like, don't think the RFL would even consider playing it at a grass root club.

I've attended a fair few including Newcastle, Manchester and Cardiff. If I won a raffle with 1st prize to pick the next venue it would be Dublin. I'm pretty sure that venue would also attract more of my friends and family too.
This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

If you are living off JSA you do very well to get to any games at all nevermind Magic Weekend.

I don't do bad to be honest, I usually pay for 1 home game in 4 at full price then send my cousin down to the shop to buy me a concessions ticket which obviously saves me £8.00 but I don't have to pay for my house as the government pay for it along with my car so I actually find myself saving some decent money some weeks.
Newcastle for me all day long, 1.5hrs up road and if you use your nogging you can get some cracking digs, 9 of us in a 4 bedroom house £84 for 2 nights for me and the wife, 20 minutes walk to the ground , great weekend, pity the rugby spoilt it
