I thought Cas/Chase had a better kicking game, putting Blaymire on the back foot a lot. Blaymire doesn't make much ground when he takes the ball early and cleanly. He makes even less when he's had to dither about for a while before taking the ball.
We also got very few 50:50 decisions from Smith.
I still haven't heard what happened that gave Cas that penalty that got them 8-6 up. Whatever it was it upset Smith for the rest of the game and he became very pedantic.
As badly as we played we could still have won the game until JD gave them that last two pointer. That gave them the cusion and the winddown of the clock.
