He carried well and hit some good lines but also dropped some ball.

He’s a luxury player one we really couldn’t accommodate when we were in SL.

Maybe so, I’m not convinced with him myself. He’s been around for years and I expected he’d probably be further ahead in his development than he is. He’s still young and could make a good SL centre but there’s still work to do with him on his game. Whether that’s with trinity who knows.

Apologies I’m was at crossed wires I was talking about Kalepi.

I agree re Hall though too. Big year for him next year maybe career defining. He doesn’t seem able to settle anywhere and I think if he doesn’t impress next year he could be looking at Championship options for his next move.

While I do agree that it will be a big year for Hall, I do disagree with the claim of him not been able to settle anywhere.

He didnt want any part of the deal last year any more than what Dagger did. They were mere pawns.

Hall was never going to get in ahead of Opacic or SKD last year, and bearing in mind this year theyve brought in Hiku and Gildart. He was always going to struggle to get game time

I’d agree apart from the fact we will be his 6th club I think should he be confirmed for next year as expected, and also he wasn’t getting game time when Hiku was playing fullback at the start of the year.

It seemed he was actually being retrained to play secondrow.

I am not too sure about his history, but I thought we were his third club when he first arrived. After that I don't think his career path has been down to him, it was driven by others. It happens nowadays young players get moved here there and everywhere. Prime example is Esse, he must have played for about six clubs already

No problem at all mate. Hall still could make a good SL centre. There’s something there to work with but his next move could be critical. Though personally looking at Jack Croft I can’t see much difference between the two and what they offer. Croft has been filling in well at centre when asked.

I couldn’t care less about Tanginoa. After a full year injured he bailed rather than take a deal with us to help the club this season. This after I believe being one of the highest paid players at the club. When he decided he didn’t have the stomach for it I couldn’t care less how he goes to be honest.

Bang on.

On HKR, I could never understand the Hiku signing (especially after his time at Warrington) to play full back, seen as they already had Evalds, when that didn't work they had to find another position for him, that being centre, so CH became surplus.

Personally I thought the bulk of the blame lay with Lewis, he over read the play and slid out leaving the gate open behind him. The gap was too big for the inside defender, Tanginoa, to get across and close, maybe Tanginoa was somewhat at fault but the fundamental error was Mikey Lewis’s. He broke the cardinal rule , ‘The ball is the threat’ and he slid before it had gone past him!

If Ollie Russel is a cert for us next season I’m one happy bunny after watching his second half performance against Les Cats yesterday, great repertoire to his game after Clunes went off for a HIA . Will only get better the more game time he gets under his belt ,as Watson starves him of game time by the looks . His kicks in play were superb and really helped bring Hudds back off the canvas for a second half rally
