Yeah Croft is a strange one really, its 4 coaches in a row now who don't seem to fancy him. Personally I always felt he was a touch to small for a centre and not quick enough for a winger

Same and having watched Scott and once or twice I’d probably rather keep Croft. There’s not much difference between the two.
Croft for some reason isn’t getting the chances but seems to do a solid job when called upon.

That's not entirely true, one Coach fancied him as a SL centre and gave him quite a few 1st team appearances following that 1st game he had against Saints

This season he’s scored and set up a few. Even played better than Pratt for the odd game. I think it’s just a case that Powell really does rate Pratt highly. And tbf he will be a good SL centre and is building up valuable experience this year.
Croft played 2nd row in the last reserve game, and threw a nice cut out pass for the winger to score, wonder if the coaches see him as having a future there? Not named in tonight's reserve team

If Booth does play full back and with Thornley rested it will likely be Pratt and Croft in the centre. Competing against another former Wakefield academy player in Greensmith.
