I also believe that Cas are taking a player from us for next season that we have been looking to offload, not 100% sure who it is but I can take a guess |

But maybe he's heard talk between player agents that he might have been told, or told by a player that knows him, loads of ways. It's a fairly small circle isn't it, the RL community especially players. I just went on the fact it was someone that plays for Cas and had for us and Westy is often seen about. You know this will be on that SARL site in the next few days as a possible rumour.

I just don’t see Bateman or Hastings as realistic, but you could have said that about our recent acquisitions for next year too. I think Bateman will have some considerable competition from the likes of Leigh, Hull and maybe Warrington all who should also have a bit of cash to spend too. Hastings I’d be very surprised to see back in SL given the lack of depth in the halves in the NRL. |

However I agree I think with backs like Jowitt, Johnstone, Walmsley, Pratt (plus hopefully Olpherts) next season a top centre (to replace Thorniley) and a quality stand off are required for the super league on long term deals. Utilise a couple of quota spots for those positions if necessary. |
