What's scary about it?

There was. I need to check what we can share and what we can't.
It was a good number.

| I don’t there’s much to worry about with teams meetings… if it’s not an ‘invite’ meeting where attendees are automatically logged on … you have to be admitted by the meeting organiser (some systems other invited attendees can admit, but this can be locked off)
You can’t just ‘log on’ and join
I think it was well explained that there were ‘member shares’ benefits and the rest of us fans have to accept that! I liken it to a rewards club with a high street store… where the more you spend the bigger the benefits!
I hope to join the members club soon … but I might find attending in person a little tricky!

TBH… there are some ‘fans’ who love putting to boot in!

I wonder whether The Cribs indie band who are from Wakefield have been approached? Their net worth is $161 million apparently. They’ve also previously proudly displayed and sold scarfs with The Cribs written on and on it said Wakefield in Red, White and Blue. Good to be linked with the group especially with the club in crisis….

‘Wakefield’s finest trio of punk siblings are back with an eighth album after escaping a music industry nightmare.……But while other bands of the mid 2000s fell to the wayside, The Cribs survived the British band buzz by sticking to their guns and having a clearly defined anti-capitalist ethos that eluded many of their peers. They were a fiercely independent minded band who never forgot their roots, sold out, or gave up. Though no indie disco will ever be complete without Cribs songs “Hey Scenesters!” or “Mirror Kissers”, the Jarman brothers established themselves as anything but a indie band from the off.’

I would be amazed if they are worth anywhere near that amount unfortunately.
They would need to be massive in America to be worth that amount and they are only successful in the UK and mildy in Japan.

Ed Sheeran is only worth $200 million so the Cribs are doing pretty well at that number aren't they.

I’m not promoting the Cribs but they’ve been voted 9th top Indie Band of all time.
I think you may be wrong they do seem to be popular in USA from the awards they’ve received for best live band. They used to practice in premises near Chantry Bridge. The drummer Ross still lives in the Wakefield area apparently but the Jarman twin brothers live in the USA.
The $161 million net worth valuation maybe a bit off the mark but the band have been going over 20 years and appear Wakeys answer to Oasis. They seem to be proud of their roots from interviews done in the past and are the biggest thing to come out of Wakefield for a long time.
Is it worth contact with Ross their drummer? The club have got nothing to lose. The club could promote one of their most popular songs at home matches? It’d grab some much needed positive media attention.
Just an idea… don’t shoot the messenger…
