Well as a Leigh fan I reckon you could do us next week, with the right rub you could have won that tonight, plenty of possession, merely a fan but when you watch Lino it’s hard to see why you haven’t scored more points.
But a lot of pressure on you now - almost a must win against us
Felt sorry for some of the lads tonight lino trying to do a the job of both halfbacks whitbread langi ran there blood to water thought proctor and pitts worked hard.and when all said and done every other team in sl would of comfortably best cas tonight.
No doubt Trinity do have some hardworking players but not enough of them are super league standard with some of those few that are, being injury prone (Bowden and Tanginoa)
Hats off to anyone who paid to see that crap…..
Don’t know what the answer is but it sure isn’t Applegarth imo….

I just don’t get how Crowther is a 13. I know he’s always played it or hooker for us, but stinks all over a natural11/12 for me. He’s completely the young version of Ashurst. I really really like the lad but completely think he’s been playing and taught the wrong position for me. Runs hard, tackles like a trooper but he ain’t no play maker. I’ve said from start of season that Langi would be pushed into the 13 for me. We need attacking players on the pitch and at least he’s comfortable in the middle passing. This team just needs to remember this is a game they all started like lots of us to play for fun. We need to learn to enjoy the game again it’s like the life has been sucked out of the players. I don’t believe they are as bad as they are playing. We ain’t no contenders but no way should we look like we don’t want to be there. Sorry but coach has to go, no excuses like it or not we need a motivator now who will take no crap from the lads and drop who needs dropping even casting them out. Should have always looked for who was available, only in an interview a few months before minards had said one day but not until he’d been a head coach of a league one or championship club would he be anywhere near ready for super league and look what happened? Willie got rid of lineham and that gob poop basically got back in and applegarth fell for his chat. Disgrace taking player votes over poaching and not letting him bring his own players in this year. Well here we are. Brian Mac available? Would take kear back for third time again if pios. but why would he? Bloody hell proctor looked the biggest motivator from the side line tonight give him or puts the captaincy if not the bloody coaching role he knows far more than applegarth ever will. I like applegarth believe it or not but he been the lamb to the slaughter and if he’d of been good enough he would have known he wasn’t good enough but that only comes with age doesn’t it fellas? If I could just get into them I bloody would we need motivation and passion and I don’t see that in the caption or the coach. Help help help now.
Mark Applegarth just basically said ‘more of the same’ is his plan to fix this!
Sorry but I laid this out weeks before the season even started, Applegarth is not a SL standard Coach, he coaches by numbers and hasn’t got the width or depth of knowledge to craft a winning team at SL level. I got the usual derision but the proof is there for us all to see.
He should never have been appointed but he positioned himself for the job, however now he should go
As an outsider looking in I don’t think motivation is necessarily the problem. That’s a hardworking set of players who clearly haven’t quit on the coach. What they are lacking is some skill at quality, same could be said of Cas, but Macshane offered them a little bit of that.
I also think your attack looked clunky, with not many lead runners or timings slightly wrong (the Langi one stands out from memory) but that is to be expected with the chopping and changing in the spine. Jowitt is sorely missed from what little I’ve seen of you guys this season.

Fair point, but who next ? what about the Messiah, failed CEO, failed director of rugby, do you think he may fancy a go. After all he tells everyone we have no money so how can we hire another coach.
