It will bring publicity and social media hits, but I agree with Willzay, whilst I understand why they've done it, it's a sorry state of affairs when one of the top RL clubs has to go down this sort of attention seeking. Very much what other clubs fans used to level at Trinity in that it's tinpot.

Well it's got them exposure on a national level . It's been on 5 lives news bulletins.

I absolutely don't get that. It's not tin pot. It's national media friendly. Sky sports friendly and also makes all those people who watch darts notice rugby league.
Most stadiums have sponsorship naming rights. They get money for that. Warrington have simply swapped one day of that to get publicity which would cost them millions to actually buy.

You see Arsenal changing the name of the Emirates to the Kier Starmer stadium anytime soon?
Again I get why they are doing it, but lamenting the fact RL clubs have to do it to get noticed in the first place.
