Of the things they are doing that's the first one.
New building for shop, with cafe incorporated into it. Boards have gone up and they are starting straight away.
The designs look really smart.
Possibly bar area backing onto the fan zone but that bit is still at idea stage.
They will shut the store in the Ridings as the rent is way too high and this is a much better option. Especially for game day.
They may do a pop up shop in town depending on the need but I don't think they'll need to.
This one looks amazing.
I wonder if the money they’re saving on rent could be used to get some advertising space around the city. Or maybe even look at some sponsorship/collaboration with trinity walk itself which include some air time on the big screen.
I’m thinking mainly show some highlights and clips from the final. Short video of players lifting the cups and fireworks/wembley along with season ticket Info following.
I completely get the shop moving but I feel there’s scope to tap into city centre traffic more efficiently.
It seems that the cafe idea could be interesting. If it’s going to operate as a business 7 days a week then could earn some money on a busy Doncaster Road morning and afternoon. I’d certainly hold it taps into the coffee takeaway market like Costa/starbucks etc. our own Trinity branded coffee shop with food selection could be a great idea. All about the coffee these days and margins would be quite good in sales.
I’m rambling again but I like thinking on my feet with these things and if someone sees these ideas and any of them spark something positive it’s worth discussing.
