To me much as going unbeaten would be great but in the champ we need to develop our younger talent. If players like Smith Lawford etc aren't played they will not get a chance in Super League. If we take a few risks with selection and we lose the odd game I can take that. We also need to keep players like Griff and Gale fit for season so next few games we need to rotate squad but I totally trust in Powell

Honestly I wouldn’t expect to lose even with Lawford/Smith etc. they’ve shown up quite well this season.
It’s about not throwing in too many changes but a handful of rotation should be fine.
You can’t not play players in the season to keep them fit for the season. There will be rotation where needed in the odd games to not risk players like Gale with niggles etc.
Players like Cozza, Bain, Smith and Lawford should fit in fairly seamlessly.

Bradford completely blew them away at Swinton 2 weeks ago, I've seen Swinton play this year and their forwards are nothing like what you describe, even Dewsbury matched them in the middle and they have the Smallest pack in the league. Even with a few Wakey absentees, this will surely be one of the easier games this month.

Hopefully Boothroyd is available to play second row. If not it will be Pitts I suspect.
I would play:
Cozza Croft Smith Bain Lawford Gale
I’d like to see Booth at full back but has to be from bench I think unless he starts on wing. He looked good at full back early season when he broke through at pace.
Vs Swinton.
No need to risk those with knocks like Walmsley, Lino, Griffin etc unless they’re fit.
Rotate forwards a bit one a week if possible to give each one a week ahead of final.
This week
I don't think Bain would struggle at SR TBH, certainly not in this division.
I wouldn't have thought Boothroyd was ready just yet TBH, and if he was I'd probably give him a short run in the reserves first.
You could also add Law and Shaw to that list, though it would leave the Reserves heavily depleted.
I guess we need to prioritise the young players we aim to keep for next year and let any we are releasing go out on loan. Think Law will still be with us not sure about Shaw and Croft.
Swinton tried to throw the ball around against the Bulls, trying to make use of their big wide RU pitch. Bradford held their line, and just slid from side to side, result was Swinton made very few metres forward. In attack the Bulls pack ran hard and got quick play the ball's. This soon got Swinton back peddling and quickly ran out of gas. I think Bradford scored a couple of tries by barging over from dummy half, the others were from the type of chip kick they tried against us. Dec Patton got sin binned for dissent, everything they do comes through him. We should be looking to put him under pressure and try and wind him up to see if he flips again, I'm sure a few words of 'advice' from a packed out and partisan BV crowd will help. The Bulls fans got after him and he reacted and lost concentration a few times

After reading that I know what Hood's job will be if he plays then. He's a bit of a wind-up merchant I've noticed since he's been playing for us and the barge over from dummy half is right up his street.

But isn’t that the whole point, we still don’t actually know our best team. Bain and Boothroyd could be revelations, Lawford might turn up this time. We have such strength in depth for this division that we could put out numerous combinations without diluting the quality. So on this occasion that cliche doesn’t work for me.
