I was gutted when Hall left, he was definitely one to hold on to, but that was a different time and forced by circumstance, it was and felt like a precursor to what has transpired since. I wouldn't say the writing was on the wall but there was a bit of graffiti appearing. I'd like to see him back but these days I dunno what he's like, and again circumstance is a dictatorial factor. Still, Cas will do well to stay up, and if they don't, hopefully not all their playing staff will be trashed for it.

Rather stick with Pratt, Thornley and Croft. Another not needed.

He has had a lot of clubs. I've heard from several people, that neither Hall or Dagger wanted to leave their clubs last year and this is only a loan deal, so maybe he has not had much dealing with this. He is only young, ans is a good player, and just needs some consistent game time to get his career back on track.

Hall and Pratt could prove to be a good long term partnership.

Yusuf Aydin also temporarily moved on. Some might say they'd been better off staying at the club.

Some might say they probably would have, given the option.

Fair enough. I heard Aydin wasn't. I'll have to change my chippy.

Granted it may have been a derisory offer given the general policy at the time, but I believe the offer was there, as it was with Batch.

Sam Eseh has injured his hamstring in captain's run so will not play for Cas this week, depending on how the injury responds to treatment he may not feature for them, unless Wigan extend his loan spell
