Turned the game back in their favour. I thought we were looking good at 12-20 and were building some momentum. Another score and we were right back in it. Catalans killed us off when we were down to 12.

You know something is amiss when you don't feel excited for the game and don't feel any emotion at all watching the game, I can honestly say I never felt like this before for my club

I know what you mean Snowie, Before the match i wasn't expecting a win and was happy to sit and watch a, hopefully, better effort than last week and nothing more.The only time I moved in my seat was when Miller made that tremendous break in the first half.

I get where you are coming from, i’ve felt the same about the game in general for a while now. A probable mis-guided loyalty to Wakey has just about kept my interest a bit but even that is now on the wane. There’s more to life than Wakefield Trinity. I think after the best part of 40 the penny has now finally dropped that when it comes to major trophies i’ll never see them win sweet fanny adams.

Agree Sacred Cow ,Think the boat as gone for winning silver ware .Should have been a few year ago when all the three quater line ,could and did go 80 yds for a touch down .Think it covered up the poor coaching .We are way behind now especially in key positions

Hit the nail on the head for me .This was the CC for god sake and I felt nothing at the end of the game . People get excited because we played better than last week ,but an amateur team would have put a better fight up than last week . We seem to have gone that far backwards as a team that we applaud mediocracy.
These players I’m sure can perform to a higher level than I saw today and for longer periods ,maybe it’s time for someone fresh to take this team forward..Excuses for me have been wearing thin for quite a while ,every team get injuries or get the wrong rub of the green ,but of the teams in super league we seem to be the least motivated and for me the buck stops at the back room staff .

would you like someone like drinkwater who along with Moloney were put in perfect positions by a rampant pack and looked like a pair of world beaters who never ran and took a tackle or would that be the same drinkwater who didn’t do a great deal at Hull kr and Leigh behind a pack getting smashed. Il tell you what we need some young hungry forwards who would be prepared to roll their sleeves up and do some dirty graft. The type of player like Oliver Holmes and Adam Milner who push themselves to the limit. Hang on we might have a few George king, crowther and batchelor get them fully fit to last 80 minutes and see how they go. We have a pack of forwards mostly of 30 plus and with these rules simply can’t strangle the life out of the game and look like plodders

As just about everyone else has pointed out, it’s nothing to do with HB’s. Until the pack starts to win the battle up front we have no real idea how good our halves and backs actually are. Jeez it’s fundamental stuff.
