Not sure that it will achieve larger attendances, ticket sales were very slow for the forthcoming Denver test.
There are 2 issues here.
The first one, of expanding RL into new territory is a great idea and every RL fan should want the sport to be played in as many countries as possible and I'm ok with that and hope it's a success and as others havce said, surely this is the whole point of having such an "event" ?
However, there are massive question marks around having Toronto, New York or whoever, competing in SL.
I't's a logistical nightmare.
As regards fans attending games, unfortunately, we are just dressing within the stadia.
The sport sold out to TV when SL was formed and IF the fans were anywhere near the top of the priority list, we'd all be playing games on a Sunday afternoon and not fighting Friday evening traffic over the Pennines etc
It's not about the fans, it's not even about the sport, it's all about the money.
