This is no way a criticism of Grix (I'm a fan of his, different styles etc.) But I feel a few more tries for Johnstone as a result of Jowett coming in. If I remember rightly those two built up quite an understanding when Max was a regular.

You've spelt Airedale wrong. :)

Big loss if you ask me.
Max brings a lot of good but the things Grix does well are the things we need most.
We may improve speed but we lose on organisation of defence and the link in the backline.

There not bites, a troll (which I'm assured he isn't) is on the wind up and will say anything for a nibble where as this guy seems to believe it.

All that may be true but it's not how you'd chose to find out :(

Big chance for Max, extended run of games without the pressure of an error leading to him getting dropped. It is however up to him to shine because as Snowie says he should have kicked on further by now.

I know that most of the side had a decent game on Sunday but, Grix went really well and took his 2 try's with aplomb .
A great chance for Max though and knowing that he will have a few games will hopefully give the lad plenty of confidence.

I don't think anyone questions Grix when going forward although he has dropped off a bit this year. But on Sunday we also saw him brushed off by the diminutive Adam Quinlan and outpaced by prop Robbie Mulhearn.
I would also expect Jowitt to confidently step forward to defuse the bombs rather than dithering and leaving them to TJ or BJB.
