Can't help feeling this was a done deal right from the start and the whole interview process was a bit of a smokescreen after the supporters feelings towards such an appointment became apparent.

Things to clear up at Hull I understand before an announcement could be made.

Just been infomed Chester may have an opportunity at Hull FC. If this is the case then I hope Agars first appointment is Glen Morrison as player/Assistant coach

Time to cut the crap and suport our new coach . Hold tight here we again .Up the trin
Ill give him a chance for sure and will be interested to see who he signs and how we play differently but this..
Quote:During his tenure at FC, Richard has built a very strong squad and has proven his ability to develop young players into established Super League players.
With a strong emphasis on youth development, Richard focuses on the individual aspects of a players game and works hard to turn potential into recognised success. With the likes of Tom Briscoe, Danny Houghton, Reece Lyne and Jordan Turner all having their careers launched under Agar’s reign, it is clear that he has an eye for young talent.
A guy who I believe hasn't given a SL debut to any young players this year IIRC ? hmm
Also I think to appease his signing Glenn Morrison has to be appointed assistant + player role.
