FWIW I think we'll have a blast.

We'll be the only full time squad (so no excuses!), we'll have a good old road show of "proper RL" grounds and clubs.
Educate some of our younger fans on how things used to be.
Win a great deal of trophies, before our glorious march into Newmarket and the return to SL.

I'm actually looking forward to getting back to enjoying my RL, instead of the facility/planning/back biting of the last 4 years.

I'd like to see some sort of deal for ST holders if we are forced out of SL along the lines of Bradford to try and keep the majority of fans attending

I agree it would be a good time to try something like that out. £50 season ticket if the club reach 4000 members, maybe be a little optimistic but its worth a try.

Sorry to pee on your bonfire but:-

1) Don't underestimate the quality in the championship. - They're will be plenty in that league capable of competing for 'the trophies'. Wakey will NOT have it there own way.

2)Getting back into SL????   Aye, when you've entered the land that the RFL have forgotten, you'll realise your knuckles are bleeding from knocking on the RFL's door, but when no-one answers you will have the same expression on your face as me!!

After what feels like an eternity at championship levels and some of your fans have begun to seek their entertainment elsewhere, you will also realise that Fax and Leigh (subject to sponsorship/finances etc) are probably higher in the RFL's pecking order than Wakey!!

Is it fair?? Is it sheeite!!!! But that's the hand that we have dealt ourselves. The Wakey clubs BoD at the time voted this system in!!!

It's cobblers but in another 3 years time when you see your hopes dashed and another club from France get a SL instead of wakey, you will experience some of the same bitter fruit I've been chompin on for years!!

If it weren't for Fev I'd walk away from this bag o' crapola! But, like Al, I refuse to yeild!

I'm thinking more long term, we need to retain a large percentage of the support base ready for our move to NM and our reinclusion in SL in 3 years

I'm sick of the level of defeatism on this board! The decision has not been announced yet and we can choose to be like sheep and follow all the pathetic reporting of our future as if it is already mapped out for us. It is not over yet and all of us on here know we are certainly not the weakest application; in my view there are 3-4 weaker than ours.

I have a letter from the RFL at home dated just over a month ago saying a "decision has not already been made". Okay, none of us trust the RFL, me included. No formal announcement has been made yet and until the time the decision has been announced I will not take our fate as a foregone conclusion.

Wherever we are next season I will continue to follow Wakefield Trinity. I've followed them from the early 80's and know the highs and lows. I've seen promotion and relegation and demotion. For me demotion is the worst feeling of the three and if I feel that again in 2 weeks time then my rage towards the RFL will increase further.

I love Wakefield Trinity. I do not love this nonsense of a process we are in which has been a factor in our current playing plight.
