Looking at it another way though, there was a minute and a half left when that happened. Plenty of time for us to blow it. If Pryce did release the ball when he felt Snitch's hand there, maybe it cost them the game.
Would we have won if Saints had run the ball at the penalty? We'll never know, but they settled for a draw when they would have had a full set of six to go at. It shows that the Saints players felt beat.
On the way home we talked about that. Regardless of whether it missed or went over, it isn't psychologically great for a team aiming to win the title to be admitting they can't win, particularly as the point wouldn't make that much difference at the top.
If you can't beat them don't join them
Just post rumours on forums
thought wakeys line defence was absolutely outstanding. korki and snitch smothered price, who clearly let the ball go with no real pressure on it. don't think either of the lads did much wrong. 2 points are ours. hard lines price. well done the lads.
Korki reefed it out.
Broughy kicked it out on the full.
JD offloaded to one of their players all in the last 5 minutes.
All of these could be seen as poor decisions - however if Brough would have found toutch we were guaranteed the win
If JD's off load had found his support we could well have scored and put the game to bed
If Korki had got away with the reef we would have won the game - Each and every one of these players were doing all they could to win - i would rather have players tht are minded this way than others who dont put themselves and their decision making processes on the line.

but if the ref hadn't seen it then he would have been a hero for saving the match, IMO its clear as day that he reefed it out but Pryce let him do it easy as well
There is no such thing as normal, there is you then theres the rest

me too broughy out on the full was redeemed by his tackle from the scrum that resulted from his error, effort was put in by all as a team not individuals

So he played for the two points? Had he not seen Wellens kicking earlier in the game?
