Dearly hope you are right mate, but until it is confirmed and the diggers move in i will still be concerned.
This plot of land has been earmarked many many times in the past, Architects mock ups of the stadium been put on display at the club with the Wakefield public invited to view them and this was going back 12 years ago.

I don't know where it is - what I do know is it isn't an obvious one.
What amazes me is how secret they have managed to keep it. No one who knows is talking which leads me to believe it's close.

Even though that photo is a few years old and a lot of development has occurred in that area since, strangely that plot of land is still there, nice and level - perfect for a stadium, with enough land around it for a large car park

FLEETMASTER STAND THE HOME OF THE NORTHSTANDERS
"Quote" But perhaps most impressive is another bumper Wildcats home crowd – 9,237 for a Saturday TV game in the cold and wet is a fine effort from one of Super League’s most progressive clubs "Gareth Walker the Mirror"

Sorry to put a dampener on things but I’ve only uploaded the aerial pic so people who don’t know the area can see what is there, to do so I used the swag webspace. I really don’t know where the site is so please don’t read anything into the url.
